Thank You for supporting the 2015 "Opening Doors for Autism" Gala!
Every two years, since 1994, Autism Edmonton (previously known as the Autism Society of Edmonton Area) has been hosting its well-known fundraising event, the “Opening Doors for Autism” Gala Dinner & Auction.
The goal of the “Opening Doors for Autism” Gala is to increase awareness about what autism is, and the kinds of challenges people with autism and their families face, so that we might "open doors" to more opportunities and greater possibilities for people on the autism spectrum. Funds raised go to Autism Edmonton, a local non-profit organization that helps families and individuals navigate their options for services, find vital information, and develop skills and peer support through facilitated activity and discussion groups.
The "Opening Doors for Autism" Gala raises essential funds for us to continue providing much needed services and support to individuals and families in our community. The event features a gourmet meal, live entertainment, and a live & silent auction with hundreds of great items! Everything being done during this important evening is done to help “open doors” for people with autism and their families.
Tickets for 2015 have now sold out! Tickets for the 2013 event also sold out with 560 guests in attendance. After all the ticket sales and auction totals were added up, the 2013 “Opening Doors for Autism” managed to raise over $500,000... Let's try to exceed that in 2015!
We especially appreciate our many contributing sponsors, who's support of this event and the work we do helps to strengthen our entire community.
Thank you to our 2015 Title Sponsors: Cameron Development Corporation, South Edmonton Common and Cameron Homes!
