www.zamzar.com – You can use Zamzar to convert You Tube videos to a format you can use at school. The trick is to copy the You Tube link. Go to Zamzar and click on Download Videos. Then paste the link into the step one box. In step 2, choose avi. as your format. Then give them your email in step 3, click on convert and wait. It will prompt you to check your email. It can take between a few minutes to 6 hours to receive the email.
www.wordle.net – This fun site lets you take a body of text, a summary of a story or a list of student and teacher traits that make a great school and turn it into an interesting poster to hang up in your room. The words that appear the most, in the text, come up largest so it provides a neat summary.
