Autism Edmonton enhances the lives of people on the autism spectrum, through knowledge, services and inclusive opportunities.

Who We Are

VISION:               All people on the autism spectrum have a life full of possibilities.

MISSION:            To enhance the lives of people on the autism spectrum, through knowledge, services and inclusive opportunities.

Since April 1971, Autism Edmonton (previously known as the Autism Society of Edmonton Area)  has been providing services and support to people living with autism spectrum disorder.
The organization was first formed as a society by a group of concerned, passionate, and dedicated parents of individuals with autism, and continues to evolve as it works to meet the changing needs of our local autism community.
Today, Autism Edmonton is known as a "go-to" source for families, individuals and professionals looking for autism resources.
Autism Edmonton's work addresses many different categories of need: family support, community engagement, professional consultation, local research support, and advocacy for families and individuals on the autism spectrum.
Our Annual Report includes more information about our organization, including our strategic plans and some statistics about who we serve. Please view our latest annual report here.
As the needs of our members grow and change, along with the resources available in the community, Autism Edmonton has been adapting and updating the different programs and services we offer in order to best serve individuals and families who are affected by autism.
Autism Edmonton has a wide variety of groups, programs and services, intended to serve individuals of all ages and abilities across the entire autism spectrum. We have added some new programs recently, and we're still continuing to grow!
